Yogurt

Digestive support. Immune health. This may not paint the prettiest picture, but we owe much of our gut health to hundreds of species of bacteria that reside there. Unfortunately, illness and antibiotics can easily wipe them out. On the upside, yogurt with live cultures is excellent for restoring or maintaining their populations. Consuming yogurt cultured with lactic acid bacteria can help prevent or decrease inflammation of the GI tract, which is helpful against conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, and Crohn’s disease.
